2.   In order to help us assign students to compatible field groups of similar fitness, please choose the level that most closely describes your REAL current hiking ability. Choose carefully, grasshopper!

1)      I consider myself a strong hiker and can comfortably hike over 8 hours or for over 12 miles in a day or I can climb more than 1000’ in an hour.

2)      I’m probably a stronger hiker than average and can comfortably hike for 6-8 hours or for 10-12 miles in a day or I can climb 1000’ in an hour.

3)      I’m an average hiker and can comfortably hike for 3-6 hours or for 6-10 miles in a day or I can climb 700’ in an hour.

4)      I might be a bit slower than some and can comfortably hike for 2-3 hours or for 3-6 miles in a day or I can climb 500’ in an hour.

5)      I don’t hike very often, but enjoy going out for a walk for 1-2 hours. I like to frequently stop and smell the roses.

Tuition – $90 for Denver Group members; $100 for other CMC group members
